Successful MS Nordic Center Public Input Meeting

Community members gathered at Loge in Mount Shasta last night October 19th for the Mt. Shasta Nordic Center Public Input Meeting. The group discussed the Regional Park Program grant application from California Parks and Recreation that Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance (SORA) is submitting to fund a new Mt. Shasta Nordic Center guest services lodge and 4.8 miles of unfunded sections of the Gateway Phase Two Trail System. Community members were invited to give their feedback and input on the plans as well as share their “Big Idea” for future dreams and visions for the Nordic Center. The public input gathered will be included in the proposal that will be submitted in November of this year.
