You’re Invited to a Recreation Plan Community Workshop on May 21st!

We’re back! Thank you to everyone who joined our workshops and took our survey last spring. You helped us craft our vision for community recreations areas and decide where to get started. Since then, we’ve been researching feasibility and gathering support. Now we need your input on which projects SORA, the Forest Service, our cities, and other recreation partners should prioritize in the coming years to build sustainable, accessible, collaborative, and fun recreation in South Siskiyou County!

Join us at a Community Workshop to learn about the potential big projects and vote on which projects we should prioritize, all while connecting with our incredible recreation community.

Join our Community Workshop

  • When: Wednesday, May 21st 5:30pm – 7:30pm

  • Where: 2600 Spring Hill Road, Mt Shasta at Mountain Medics

  • What: Learn about potential big projects and help us decide where to get started

  • Connect with the recreation community and learn about upcoming opportunities to get involved in trail builds, volunteer events and more!

Can’t make it? We’ll also have an opportunity to learn about the project and share feedback in a survey launching mid-May. Check back here and in our newsletter and social media for update.

You can learn more about the project on our Recreation Plan page, and if you have additional questions about this project, please contact Justi Hansen at justi@siskiyououtdooralliance.org

Please help us spread the word about the workshop to our community!
