SORA is now a Leave No Trace Community Partner!

SORA and Siskiyou Stewardship Corps is happy to announce we are officially a Proud Leave No Trace Community Partner!

By partnering with Leave No Trace for our educational messaging, we are able to access the experience, resources, and knowledge of an organization that has a long history of working to spread awareness of our impacts on the environment and to share tools on how we can minimize them. We also have access to a great support network which can help us find resources that might be especially helpful for our particular needs, and where we can share our experiences and contribute to the larger movement.

Our plan is to use Leave No Trace and the Leave No Trace 7 Principles as a foundation of our stewardship education, and provide a range of different opportunities for engagement, from visitor outreach through tables at local parks to more formal presentations and workshops.
