SORA Announces Partnership with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.

The Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance (SORA) is proud to announce a new partnership with Sierra Nevada Brewing Co, a family owned and operated brewery in the North State since 1980. They’re named after a mountain playground, and like us, they know freedom is in the great outdoors.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co has been a long-time sponsor of the Mt. Shasta Nordic Center, which is a SORA program--and now they’re expanding their support across all of SORA’s programming. Through the partnership, Sierra Nevada will sponsor SORA programs, events, and recreation advocacy such as Grinduro, The Backcountry Film Festival fundraiser for the Mt. Shasta Nordic Center, facilitating bicycle and pedestrian advocacy, local trail maintenance days on and around Mt. Shasta, and more.

The SORA and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. partnership is one that is based on a shared passion for sustainable outdoor recreation and community vitality. Together we will work to fulfill the SORA mission to advocate for opportunities for all to access outdoor recreation and create meaningful and responsible connections to the trails, mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, and landscapes of the Shasta-Siskiyou region of Northern California.
